Raw Eco-Jewellery by Devaki MacDonald

Raw eco-jewellery is inspired by the mysteries and marvels of the natural world, filling her work with materials given to us from nature and collected with her own hands, Devaki is inspired by travel, culture, nature, organic living, originality and found and recycled objects.

An avid and passionate traveler, Devaki began collecting natural materials from every adventure she had. Whether it was seeds from vines that dangled in the Amazon, nuts from trees that filled the rainforest, or shells that were scattered across the beach, they were collected one by one, piece by piece and polished and perforated.

As Devaki began to create mini pieces of wearable art, her skill and technique grew naturally through practice. At first she made jewellery for herself, her loved ones, and special people she met along the way, however it wasn’t long before her product began to sell. It developed into a travelling boutique with which Devaki funded five years of travel. Raw eco-jewellery was born as Devaki learned to create a one of a kind product with authentic materials, each with its own unique story behind it.

Her newest line is comprised of recycled works focusing mainly on recycled, antique clock and watch parts. The line also incorporates antique and vintage charms and jewellery, recycled wires, zippers, bits, doodads and doohickeys.
